A 12-member Mongolian rescue team that left on March 15 has begun work in Miyagi province, the area worst affected by the tsunami and earthquake in Japan. It is expected to be there for two weeks. The team includes a chemist, a doctor and a psychologist and all its members have experience of several rescue operations.
