The first forum of Mongolian engineers is being held today at Government House. It has been organized jointly by the University of Agriculture, the National University of Mongolia, and the University of Science and Technology, with support from the Ministries of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and of Education, Culture and Science.

Innovative technology provided by engineers is essential to the development of Mongolia and the forum focuses on environment-friendly methods of production that do not damage the ecology. Mineral resources have to be exploited for material welfare but this has to be done in ways that do not harm the health of man and animal, or affect the natural balance.
