Mongolia and Mexico established diplomatic relations in 1975. The President said Mongolia would like bilateral relations and cooperation to be wider and stronger, since the two countries have an opportunity to share experiences in mining and agriculture.
Diplomatic relations with Chile began in 1971 and the President identified mining, agriculture, environmental protection, education, and tourism as sectors for bilateral collaboration.
Mongolia and South Africa established diplomatic relations in 1994 and Elbegdorj said Mongolia can learn from South Africa’s experience in mining and agriculture. The President hoped the two countries would collaborate in business also.
Mongolia and Zambia have had diplomatic relations since 1978 and the President expressed happiness that the two countries have developed ties of cooperation despite their geographical distance.
