M.Mashbat who injured six people when he crashed a car into the ger of protesters on Sukhbaatar Square has been treated 28 times since 1986 for mental illness. He also has a history of assaulting doctors during his treatment. He left his last hospital only on April 5.  He is 48, unemployed and lives in Bayanzurkh district.

However, the National Mental Health Center has given the opinion that he can be tried for his crime.
