Parts of Khuvsgul province continue to be under quarantine to halt the spread of the A/H1N1 influenza virus.  Schools and kindergartens have remained closed since December 28. According to L.Damdinsuren of the provincial hospital, six of the 49 registered cases of swine flu are being treated in hospital now. Two of the infected have died, one of them a 10-month-old baby. The provincial administration will meet on January 8 to review the situation.
