The Mongolia Investment Forum being held today held at Government House will mainly discuss risk management in the mining sector, reform of the capital market and privatization of state property.

President of the Mongol Bank L.Purevdorj told the forum Mongolia has the potential to develop its domestic capacity, and cooperation from foreign partners does not have to be restricted to loans and aid. Opportunities are presenting themselves for Mongolia to raise capital for its industrial needs, and the country needs to act with prudence and courage.
Observers feel Mongolia’s success in this will depend on how well it can improve its business environment and expand public-private partnership.
