The Government has set up a committee headed by the Prime Minister to decide on a program to observe the 50th anniversary of Mongolia joining the UN on October 27, 2011. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade G.Zandanshatar is its Deputy Head.
The Government will publish a report on Mongolia’s cooperation with the UN in the five decades, and will host some international conferences and meetings. It also plans to arrange a performance of Mongolian culture and art at the UN Headquarter in New York.
