The DP’s regular monthly meeting was yesterday held at the Maternal and Child Health Research Center (MCHRC). Among those present were the party Leader, N.Altankhuyag, Secretary General D.Erdenebat, Chief of the DP group in Parliament Ch.Saikhanbileg, Minister for Health S.Lambaa and managing officials of MCHRC.

The meeting discussed the health aspects of the party’s Mongol Citizen 2020 project. During debates in Dornod, Bulgan and Dornogobi aimags, citizens had complained of difficulties they faced in accessing health services. The Chief of the working group on health, T.Batmagnai, Deputy Director of MCHRC Sh.Enkhtur, Director of Deliver Clinic N.Sanjdorj and Director of Children Surgery D.Ganchimeg offered their opinions.

 Altankhuyag said that they had chosen the venue because human health begins at birth. “Last year, 65.889 births were recorded in Mongolia and the health of all these babies is our priority concern,” he said.
