The second and concluding day’s meeting of the Mongolia Economic Forum began this morning with an address by President Ts.Elbegdorj who asked for an open exchange of opinions from all interested in development. Jeffry Frankel, who teaches at Harvard University, then presented a paper on “the curse of natural resources”.
Panel meetings on both days discussed issues of development policy, developing competitive skills, clusters, the capital market, employment, professional training and economic growth, development models, reforming social welfare practices, new education systems, urban development, planning and budget.
