Accepting the credentials of the new Chinese Ambassador, Wang Xia Lung, President Ts.Elbegdorj today said he comes to Mongolia “at a time when bilateral relationships are set to achieve new meanings in a new century”. Both sides, he said, have “equal responsibility to fulfill great hopes”.

He hoped “cooperation in all sectors would be actively developed through frequent and regular high-level visits and meetings”. He referred to his visit to China last year when he and President Hu Jintao discussed issues of trade, and economy, specially mining, energy, infrastructure, environment protection and humanitarian sectors. Both countries have agreed to be “strategic partners”, confirming their “desire to develop long-term cooperation”.

The Ambassador passed on greetings from Hu Jintao and said he would do his best to contribute in the development of bilateral relations and collaboration.
