Oyutolgoi LLC is running a program to train Mongolians in special skills to meet the manpower needs of industry. The program will run for the next three years and Oyutolgoi will meet its entire expenses of MNT36 billion.  Altogether 3,300 youths will be trained in mining, construction and agricultural skills. An expected 20% of them will find employment at Oyutolgoi, but the rest will be utilized elsewhere.

The company has offered scholarship to 140 students and will train 166 students in Professional Training Centers of Erdenet, Darkhan, Choir and Dalanzadgad to operate heavy vehicles and machinery.

Some 5,700 workers are engaged in construction work at Oyutolgoi and 16,000 more working places will be created in 2011 and 2012. When mining starts, 4,000 workers would have jobs in Oyutolgoi.
