K. Ando told Senior Presidential Advisor P.Tsagaan on Wednesday of Japan’s readiness to invest in the mining and infrastructure sectors of Mongolia. He is chief of the Natural Resources and Fuel Department of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE) at Japan”s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and led a delegation to Mongolia.
Ando mentioned that the presence of leading Japanese corporations in the bid for the Tavantolgoi project indicated this readiness. He was accompanied to the meeting by the Ambassador of Japan.
