There is every reason to feel optimistic that the Government will earn considerably more than the estimated MNT600 billion from export of mineral resources in 2011. The General Budget was prepared on the basis that the global price of gold will be USD1250 per ounce, and that of copper USD8425 per ton. Both have so farfetched higher prices and the trend is likely to continue.
