Mineral Resources and Energy Minister D.Zorigt has been instructed by the Government to draft amendments to the law on oil products, and to prepare a new state policy for the oil sector, to be in force until 2015. He has been given until the end of the 1st quarter of 2011 to submit the drafts.  

On matters more specific, the Minister, together with the head of the Petroleum Authority, D.Amarsaikhan,  have been told to seek the help of the Professional Council for Mineral Resources to prepare product sharing contracts to be signed with Petro China Dachin Tamsag LLC, and Donshen Oil Mongolia LLC and to grant them exploration licenses in accordance with the related laws within the 2nd quarter of 2011.
