The Government will spend MNT194 million 357,000 from its reserve fund to pay for assignment related expenses incurred by rescue services personnel for their work in disaster areas in the second half of 2010 and also as reward for their performance. The six months saw 51 forest fires that spread over 149,123 hectares of area in 32 soums in 10 aimags.   
 
Another MNT1 billion 700 million 35,000 will be used to reimburse money spent by aimag administrations during forest fires and outbreaks of plague, and to pay compensation for animals culled to prevent the spread of foot and mouth disease last year. Governors of aimags have been asked to submit reports on claims within the 1st quarter of 2011.
