The Judges’ Council, comprising Supreme Court judges and Judges General of aimags and Ulaanbaatar city, yesterday finalized new appointments to the General Council of Courts. B.Sarantuya was appointed Head of Criminal Cases Chamber of Ulaanbaatar city; P.Batsaikhan, the Judge General of Orkhon aimag; and Yo.Tsogtzandan, Judge General of Khan-Uul district.    

Among other appointments decided at the meeting were that of B.Battseren, a judge of Ulaanbaatar Court, to head the Judges’ Union of Mongolia and of M.Damiransuren, Chief of Administration at the Supreme Court Judge General’s Office, as Executive Director of the Union.    

Nine members of the Managing Council of the Union were also elected at the meeting.
