The National Statistics Office has said consumers’ price index in January increased by 3% over December and 13.8% in over January, 2010. Besides inflation, cash supply, cash in citizens’ hand and loan amounts have also increased.
According to the Mongol Bank, money supply at the end of January was MNT4 trillion and 805 billion, an increase by MNT125.5 billion or 2.7% over December, 2010.
