The source informs that two companies from Japan have submitted bid to exploit coal in Tavantolgoi deposit mine, which is the largest coal basin in the world.

The commercial group Mitsui and Co has sent bid for tender selection to buy coal from mining company that has exploited in Tavantolgoi basin. Spokesman of Mitsui and Co said that the company has sent bid along tender requirements.

Besides, Itochu Corp would send bid and officials have discussed the issue. Itochu cooperates with commercial companies Sumitomo, Marubeni and Sojitz and Korean Resources from South Korea and company of railway from Russia.

Japan has interests to cease coal dependence from Australia and to buy coal from Mongolia and Russia in iron production.
