Official opening ceremony of Mongolian state’s 2220th anniversary was held in National Museum of Mongolia on January 31 where exhibition of Khunnu state nobles has been displayed for ten days.

-What is significance to observe Mongolian state’s 2220th anniversary?

-Mongolian people have rich history and observation of Mongolian state’s 2220th anniversary has historical crucial significance and research cooperation with foreign scholars. The most principal significance is Mongolian youth would study home country’s history, tradition and would get national pride.

-Mongolian nationality was main nationality of Khunnu state that had many nationalities?

-Many scholars of the world have confirmed that main nationality of Khunnu state was Mongolians along genetic and anthropologic research. Certainly Khunnu was a large state from Great Wall to European territory where lived many nationalities and ethnics.

-What is plan of observation of 2220th anniversary?

-The President has decreed and the Government has issued protocol to observe Mongolian state’s 2220th anniversary. Also working group established to observe the anniversary and Minister for Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar is working as Head of the working group. There is plan to observe the anniversary measures during a year period.

Working group organized opening ceremony before Tsagaan sar celebration because Khunnu state celebrated their main festivities in spring and fall.
