Mongolia is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the International Association for Mongol Studies. To mark the event, a ceremony took place at the Ikh Tenger Complex on 26 October, during which, Mongolian President Kh.Battulga and the Vice President of the International Association for Mongol Studies (IAMS) delivered speeches.
The President told the gathered that his first contact with IAMS was in 2015, when, after talks with S.Chuluun and other specialists, he became involved with financial support to the association in achieving its goals. Mr Battulga also noted the importance of organising annual conferences in the name of the IAMS in Asia, Europe and the Americas as well as providing cash prizes for the best papers and research in the field of Mongol studies.
