A lucky person from Ulaanbaatar won MNT 500 million (USD 203 thousand) from the VAT Lottery on Sunday (22nd of October), according to the General Taxation Department of Mongolia.

The lottery has been taking place since January 2016. Last year there were two super winners, each receiving MNT 400 million.  However, the two are now under police investigation for alleged fraud.
