Kh.Battulga, President of Mongolia received the Cuban Ambassador  on 20th of October. During the meeting, H.E. Raul Delgado Concepcion introduced cooperation projects and programmes between Mongolia and Cuba which are currently being implemented. Mongolia began importing medicine for the liver and diabetes from Cuba. The ambassador also proposed  training Cuban athletes in Mongolia in preparation of the 2020 Olympics.

President Kh.Battulga proposed intense cooperation with Cuba in the  health sector and to learn from Cuban dentists on mouth cavity specifics.

Cuba was the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia; this happened 57 years ago in1960.
