Mongolia will host the most important 3×3 competition for national teams in Asia and – for the first time – Oceania. The FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2017 will take place at Crocus Event Hall on 27th-29th October.

In total, 12 women’s and 12 men’s teams from Japan, China, Qatar, Australia, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Lebanon, India. Sri-Lanka, Bahrain and Mongolia will compete. The Mongolian basketball team ranks in 34th in the world and 4th in the Region.

The Mongolian women’s national team won silver at the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2013.
