The 378th anniversary of the establishment of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, will take place on 29th October. To mark the occasion, the Ulaanbaatar city administration is organising a number of events,  one of which is a trade exhibition entitled “UB City Big Sale”; this is being held for its fifth year.  

Ulaanbaatar Mayor S.Batbold will open the “City Big Sale” at the State Department Store on 22nd of October with the ringing of a bell.

The location of Ulaanbaatar was chosen in 1778, and as a symbol of the city’s foundation, a turtle statue, representing longevity, was erected in 1994.
