The Veteran World Wrestling Championships began in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv on 11th of October. Over 600 athletes from 41 countries are participating in the competition.
On first day of the event, M.Tsanlig has become champion in the men’s 130 kg of classic wrestling after defeating five strong components; is so doing he also became first the Mongolian champion of classic wrestling. M.Tsanlig defeated Iranian Mohammad Karimzaden in the fifth match.
The wrestler holds the ‘falcon award’ in Mongolian traditional wrestling and also has experience in freestyle wrestling.
