After successfully producing ‘Mongolia’s Got Talent’, the most popular television programme in the country, for two years in a row, ‘Mongol HD TV’ has been preparing to broadcast another singing competition franchise. Last year, the Mongol TV channel promised to bring ‘The Voice’ singing competition to Mongolian audiences.
On Tuesday (10th October), the TV announced the members of the panel of judges for its upcoming show ‘The Voice of Mongolia’. Selecting the panel has been on the agenda for quite some time; on Tuesday, however, they were finally named. The panel will consist of: S.Ononbat, State Honored Cultural Figure, CEO of the On&Off Production company, D.Otgonbayar, State Honored Artist, lead singer of Mongolian rock group Hurd, D.Bold, State Prize Laureate, leader of the boy band ‘Camerton’, and D.Ulambayar, leader of the Mongolian girl group ‘Kiwi’.
The Mongolian version of the ‘Got Talent’ franchise made a huge success, attracting viewers from a huge 80 percent of the country’s population.
