A public debate entitled, ‘All citizens’ participation against air-pollution’, will be held at Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 12th of October. The event is being organised by the Ulaanbaatar City Administration and the Law Enforcement University of Mongolia and will include the participation of civil servants, private organisations and citizens.

Furthermore, an exhibition of ecologically friendly and high technology products will be presented as part of the event. Mongolian companies will exhibit their products, including electric heaters and bio-fuels.

In the winter time, Ulaanbaatar becomes one of most air-polluted cities on earth, as a  substantial part of the capital’s population, who live in the so-called ‘ger districts’ use coal for warmth and cooking.
