Wrestling is one of Mongolia’s traditional sports along with horse racing and archery. The country’s leading wrestler is known as the ‘State Hawk’; this is the title currently held by O.Khangai in the traditional wrestling rankings which have been released by the Mongolian Wrestling Federation. The rankings present individual successes at  wrestling matches between Tsagaan Sar (White Moon Festival), at the end of the year and the 95th anniversary of the energy sector on 30th of September, which was marked by traditional wrestling.

O.Khangai was bestowed the title of ‘State Hawk’ after winning six matches and collecting 17621 points; he was followed by U.Bat-Orshikh with 15863 points.
