A Mongolian-Russian cooperation forum starts on 3rd of October in Ulaanbaatar. The event aims at realising the proposals made from the previous forum held last year in Novosibirsk, and expanding bilateral cooperation between the two neighbours.

In the framework of the forum, a roundtable and seminars will be held on issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, trade and specific economic collaboration in the border territories. Seminars will also focus on education, science, culture, sport, construction, agriculture, and light industry. In addition, sporting and cultural events, as well as the first forum between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union, will be held within the larger event.   

The forum is of importance in broadening Mongolian-Russian relations and cooperation, enriching strategic partnership ties and increasing the  effectiveness of regional and cross-border cooperation.
