The Mongolian Ministry of Environment and Tourism is to host an NDC Partnership Forum in Ulaanbaatar on 3rd and 4th of October. The Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) were one of the key outputs of the Paris Climate Change Agreement. The event is being co-organized with the NDC Partnership Support Unit. The Forum will run various multi-sectoral meetings of government representatives, experts, and international organisations interested and involved in NDC implementation. Over 200 representatives from a range of government agencies and development partners are expected to participate.

In 2015, the world endorsed the bold 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the landmark Paris Agreement to address climate change. Now, each country implements and advances its NDC’s under the Paris accord, and studies new approaches and practices which must be applied in order to achieve significant and lasting climate change.
