Science Academy has adequate budget

Labor Union of Science Academy announced press conference because the Government has planned deficient budget to SA. Labor Union opposed that MNT298.8 million has not accounted to SA budget while the state officials’ salary is increased by 30%. The amount could pay 71 employees’ salary in a year period that is why Labor Union of SA sent an official note to Minister for Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar to compensate the amount. Besides, Labor Union announced that if the Minister does not answer the official note till Friday, they would demonstrate.

The official note’s term ends today and our reporter talks to Chief of Technology Board of the Ministry B.Khurelbaatar.

Labor Union of Science Academy has demanded to compensate MNT298.8 million. When do you answer the official note?

We read the official note and concluded that the demand to compensate
budget of 2011 has not basis. Therefore, we are going to answer
officially. Minister Yo.Otgonbayar signed an answer to the official note
so we send it today. By definition, there is adequate budget of Science
Academy.

Could
you explain that you said the demand has not basis?

The state officials’ salary is
increased by 30% in rules but salary is changed. In addition, SA has salary
savings in 2010 and it could be saved in 2011 such as employees study abroad or
leave. Besides, the Government passed adequate budget.
