Ulaanbaatar’s Council of Crime Prevention /CCP/ concluded its work of 2010.   Members noted that crime condition relating to alcohol has threatened people however crime number was decreased. Therefore, members urged to fight alcoholism in 2011.

The CCP has processed general plan to publicize and to implement protocol and law to prevent crimes, to provide public order, to fight crimes cooperating with legal organizations, economic entities and citizens.

Police Department of Ulaanbaatar implemented several works to reduce crimes. These included 18 cars for additional patrol traffic police paid from city budget. Thanks to this number of traffic crimes during nights considerably decreased. 

Police Department of Ulaanbaatar city received 42,748 complaints and 27790 claims of crime characteristic from organizations, economic entities and citizens and 39.8% were resolved as criminal crime.
