Mongolia will host the Second East Asian Youth Games in Ulaanbaatar in 2023.

The Mongolian Cabinet has authorise the relevant ministers and the mayor of Ulaanbaatar to formulate a preparation plan. The necessary financing will be included in the 2019 state budget.

The Youth Games have been organised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and are described as the second largest multi-sporting event after the Asian Games.
