Thousands of pupils from the Hobby school have created giant Mongolian national flag of paper pyramids. The flag making event took place yesterday (18th of September) and was aimed at getting into the Guinness World Records. The pupils had been worked for six hours to create the giant flag.
The paper flag is 48 meters in length by 24 meters, and is comprised of over 10 thousand paper pyramids.
Previously, a total of 3333 pupils from the “Oyunii Undraa” school recited D.Purevdorj’s famous “Independence” poem on Ulaanbaatar’s Central Square, to mark the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of their school.
