The Genghis Khan Asian bicycle festival took place yesterday, the 17th of September in the Mongolian capital and the nearby countryside. The event was ogranised by the International Bicycle Federation with Khunnu tur LLC in Ulaanbaatar. Apart from Asian delegates, a total of 272 Mongolian cyclers competed in the marathon competition.

The cyclists travelled the 88 kilometer distance from the capital’s Sukhbaatar square and finished at the giant Chinggis Khaan Statue. located to the east of the city
