P.Sergelen, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries received a Saudi Arabian delegation led by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on 22^nd of August.

Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud said, ‘our country is a high meat consumer. We, therefore, suggest establishing a working group for building a joint meat plant with Mongolia’.

Mongolia currently has an export capacity of over 150 thousand tonnes of meat annually. Livestock in Mongolia reached 61.5 million this year. Last year, the country exported 9.2 thousand tonnes meat to Russia and China.
