The 7th annual international conference and exhibition “Coal Mongolia 2017” will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel, from 7th to 9th of September. Conference registration costs USD 1000 –  the highest price for such events in Mongolia. However, everything was sold out over a month ago. 

All of Mongolia’s large enterprises and companies are sponsoring ‘Coal Mongolia 2017’. 

Mongolia has surpassed Australia after having exported 20 million tonnes coal in first half of the year. The country’s success is partly the result of increased export sales to China, after Beijing cut all coal imports from N.Korea; Mongolia ended up filling the gap.
