The 1^st International Children’s Art Festival opened with a calligraphy contest among children at  the Mongolian Children’s Palace of Culture on 7^th of August. The exhibition displayed beautiful calligraphy works by children from Mongolia and Inner Mongolia.

More than 100 works of calligraphy were submitted from the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of China for this exhibition which aims to elevate the value of the traditional Mongolian script and promote friendship between the children of the different Mongolian ethnic groups.
