Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat received South Korean Assembly member Lee Hae Chan, on 7th of August. The last time Mr. Lee Hae Chan was in Mongolia was nine years ago; he said that the relationship between the two counties had much improved since then. This time South Korea is interested in cooperating with Mongolia in the agricultural sector said Mr. Lee Hae Chan.
Prime Minister J.Erdenebat said, ‘Agriculture is one of leading sectors in Mongolia. The Mongolian Government is ready to support cooperation with South Korea in this sector. In addition, South Korea has agreed to give a USD 500 million loan to Mongolia. The Government will decide how the loan is to be spent and send a draft agreement to Seoul for discussion in the near future.
Relations between the two countries have been good for many years; currently more than 40 thousand Mongolians are working in South Korea.
