An ATR-72 plane belonging to Hunnu Air’s had to make an emergency landing in Murun, administrative center of Khuvsgul province due to engine failure. The incident took place yesterday (23rd of July) at 10.00 a.m. Fortunately, the plane landed safety at Khuvsgul airport. The plane was en route between Ulaangom, the administrative center of Uvs province and the capital, Ulaanbaatar. The passengers were transferred to another other plane which brought them safely from Ulaanbaatar. 

According to the passengers, the plane made an emergency landing because of engine failure, however, the Civil Aviation Authority said it was a ‘technical landing’.
