Mongolia has elected a former wrestler as its president and if these pictures are anything to go by the shape of the country is in firm hands, Metro reported.

Kh.Battulga of the Democratic Party was sworn in on July 11 after narrowly defeating Miyegombo Enkhbold of the Mongolian People’s Party on July 7.

Kh.Battulga, a former artist and world champion in the martial art of sambo – a Russian martial art that translates as ‘self-defence without weapon’ – won the country’s first run-off election with 50.6 percent of the vote, narrowly defeating M.Enkhbold.
