Mongolia has fired  22 Rain Rockets over the last two days in an attempt to extinguish the forest fires in the Selenge and Tuv provinces in. The missiles fire particles into puffy clouds in attempt to cause them to produce rain.

More than 1000 NEMA officers and over 300 soldiers are currently battling to extinguish the forest fires. As a result, one forest fire has now been fully extinguished and six others have been brought under control.
