Mongolia has bought 43 new buses from South Korea. The procurement of the vehicles comes under the project ‘supporting public transportation between countries’, implemented by the Exim Bank. Mongolia signed an agreement with the bank to receive credit at a favourable 2.25 percent interest rate for 12 years.

Buses are the main mode of public transportation in Ulaanbaatar.
