‘Naadam’, Mongolia’s biggest annual national festival will take place from 10th to 13th of July. The preparation of this exciting competition celebrating the ‘three manly sports’ of wrestling, archery and horse riding, is continuing at the Mongol Naadam Complex.
The Mongol Naadam Complex, currently under construction, includes a modern stadium with 30 thousand seats, an archery competition range, and a centre for the traditional sport of ankle bone throwing. Furthermore, the Bogd’s Undur Complex, the City Light Monument and a centre for horse riding and training will be constructed at Khui Doloon Khudag.
Last year, in a step to attract tourists all the year round, a ski resort was established at Khui Doloon Khudag; in just two months it have been visited by over 30 thousand people.
