A Mongolian soldier serving with the France army, has drowned in a river in France. O.Bat-argamj, aged 28 drowned with a South African soldier, also in his 20’s, in the River Marne while participating in military training on 19th of May, the foreign media reported Monday (22nd of May).
According to the source, more than 20 foreign soldiers were undergoing training when two drowned. Nearly 30 went to rescue the two soldiers, however, their boat was overturned by the strong waves.
O.Bat-Argamj has been served in the French Foreign Legion for three years privately. French Defence Minister Sylvie Goulard said that the death of the two foreign soldiers is being investigated.
