The Chinese Red Cross Foundation launched a medical aid programme for paediatric congenital heart disease in Mongolia under the Belt and Road Initiative on Saturday, 13th of April.
Medical professionals and doctors from north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will visit Mongolia and examine children with congenital heart disease there.
After the check-up, the foundation plans to send 100 Mongolian children back to China for surgery.
The Red Cross Society of China programme is for all children among the Belt and Road countries, and Mongolia is a beneficiary. (Xinhua)
