According to them, the civil movements will demonstrate on 16th of January. As a matter of fact, they announced they will demonstrate on 16th of every month naming the demonstration “Freedom-16”. It will be intended to remind the state managing officials that civil rights and freedom, declared by the State Constitution are being violated.
P.Bold said 2011 would be a year that every citizen could enjoy their freedom and rights. The Constitution indicates 18 rights for citizens but the Government violates human rights by air pollution and poisoning of cyanide natrium and etc. He said it is unacceptable for citizens to take permission from the officials in order to express their opinions.
G.Uyanga told that it is important that every citizen of Mongolia participate in the demonstration scheduled on January 16, to join their voices for violated rights and freedom. “We will not send any demands to some official. We already know that expecting the state officials would be a waste of time. We just want them to express their views on how citizens’ living rights are being violated in society” she said.
Civil movements to demonstrate monthly
O.Magnai said that social valuable items and principles are lost in Mongolia. Citizens should fight to correct the situation. This way democratic society’s immunity is set up.
