There is information that reserved meat would be sold starting this week. Defining the information, our journalist talked to D.Batsukh, an official in Food, Service and Trade Department of Mayor’s Office.
When will the reserve meat be sold?
This is too early to tell that the sale of reserve meat from this week. Thus, we are consulting with meat reserve companies and Mongolian Meat Union. In any case, reserve meat will be sold before Tsagaan Sar in order to prevent price rise.
Was it possible to reserve the planned amount of meat? How is the quality?
Total of 12 tons of meat is reserved for capital city and one ton of meat is reserved for Darkhan and Erdenet cities each. This year beef was reserved instead of mutton and goat meat. We have chosen responsible companies to reserve high quality meat.
How much would the meat cost?
This is impossible to say the price. But we will set a lower price than market price.
