Teachers at all institutions who are paid by the Government will organize a protest demonstration at Sukhbaatar Square on April 4 to press for a salary increase. Their main demand is for the implementation of the Government promise to raise the salary of government employees by three times. The teachers have also not earned any incentive money since this January, when the Government decided to reduce its expense per student.

The Teachers Labor Union has revealed that a strike will follow if the Government does not accept their demand.
