The Governmentyesterday named Ch.Gankhuyag, former Chief of the Representative Managing
Council of Khas Bank and the Director of Tenger Financing Group, as the new
Deputy Minister of Finance.
Ch.Gankhuyag was born in 1973 and lives with his wife and three children. He
was educated at secondary school No. 23 and graduated from the Economics
University in Budapest, Hungary in 1997. He has attended short courses in financial
management in the USA, Egypt, Bangladesh and Germany. He speaks Russian,
English and Hungarian.
Ch.Gankhuyag has worked as controller of commerce in the MSE, as controller and
state inspector in the Mongol Bank, as financial manager of the Micro Start
project of the UN Development Program, as Executive Director and Manager of
Development Gold Fund LLC, as Executive Director of Khas Bank and has been Executive
Director of Tenger Financing Union LLC and economic policy advisor of the Prime
Minister from January, 2009.
